AGM Sports has announced the signature of the partnership with both the Portuguese Olympic Committee and the Association of Track and Field Athletes of Portugal. The agreement was signed by Gonzalo Corrales, Director of AGM Sports, Nuno Fernandes, representative of the Portuguese Olympic Committee, and Paulo Bernardo, representing high-level track and field athletes in the country. The event took place at the facilities on the Committee, in Lisbon, and was presented by the President of the Portuguese Olympic Committee, who had encouraging words for those high-level athletes that wanted to continue with a university education in the American college system.

AGM Sports will start working with all Portuguese athletes that are interested in studying at American universities while they continue training and competing at the highest level. The company will help these athletes during their recruitment process, and will mediate in their conversations with the universities, trying to find athletic scholarships for these Portuguese men and women.

The program has already been sent to all Portuguese federations, associations, and clubs, with the objective of helping Portuguese athletes starting in August of 2008 and January of 2009.

AGM Sports y American Airlines han suscrito un acuerdo de colaboración, por el cual aquellos estudiantes-deportistas que van a iniciar o continuar sus estudios universitarios en Estados Unidos gracias a la mediación de AGM Sports, obtendrán importantes descuentos en todos los viajes a sus respectivas universidades y vuelta a sus países de origen. Además de los estudiantes-deportistas, también sus familiares obtendrán condiciones especiales en la contratación de vuelos a y desde los Estados Unidos.

El proceso se iniciará con el envío de un FORMULARIO DE RESERVA, con las fechas de los viajes, y los lugares de origen y destino. Una vez que los técnicos de AGM Sports verifiquen que la información es correcta, American Airlines buscará las mejores condiciones de viaje con su compañía, o bien con otras alternativas en el caso de lugares en los que no trabajen, y enviará al estudiante-deportista su presupuesto de viaje, con las opciones de pago disponibles. Una vez realizado el pago directo a American Airlines, esta compañía emitirá el ticket electrónico correspondiente.
