Cursos de veranoWith a large number of quality options throughout the US, students live a fantastic international experience, work on their English skills, and continue practicing their favorite sport.

The Summer Camp Program of AGM Sports offers a great number of camps located all over the USA.
The main goal is to live an international experience in the United States for a number of weeks during the summer, improve the use of the English language, continue with athletic activities, and combine all academics and athletics with other extracurricular activities.   

 

Program Overview

  • • Students between 13 and 18 years old.
  • • Duration – Minimum two weeks.
  • •Summer Camp costs – From $500 to $1500 per week*.
  • • Destinations – All over the US.
  • • Institutions – Sports academies, High Schools and colleges.
  • •Accommodation – University dorms, American host families and off-campus apartments.

    • *It does not include travelling nor administrative expenses. The final cost will depend on number of classes, sports activities and accommodation.

Program Details

  • Sports, English, test-preparation and extracurricular activities are the elements that AGM will offer on its personalized summer camps.
  • SPORTS
  • • AGM will look for the best camp to practice the desired sport, offering customized programs for groups of students who practice the same sport.
  • • Access to sports activities will be organized  not only to enjoy sports, but also to increase the exposure to American college coaches.
  • ENGLISH
  • • English classes of all levels, to improve the English level of the “camper”.
  • • Specific programs designed to prepare for the required tests to access to any American university (TOEFL/SAT).
  • NUMBER OF CAMPS
  • • AGM provides access to single or multiple camps during the student’s time  in the USA, with the objective of meeting with the academic, athletic and social goals of the student and his/her family.  

When Should I Start?

  • It is strongly recommended that the student contacts AGM Sports at least 6 months before the expected travelling date, in order to find multiple options for the family to evaluate. Shorter contact is ok for Programs already created in the United States.
  • The summer camps in USA start in June and end in August. Length of the camps go from 2 weeks to 2 months.

How the Process Works?

PRE-EVALUATION AND REVIEW

• After registering online (free and with no engagement) our staff will evaluate the information received to understand the students’ academic, social, geographical and financial expectations.

COLLEGE SCOUTING

• College evaluation analyzing academics, financials, location, social environment, etc.

• College review providing the student with information about the school.

DECISION MAKING

• Advising in the communication processes with the academic institutions to understand the information provided by the school and admission departments.

ADMISSIONS

• Counselor services to comply with the academic requirements for admissions in the designated school to obtain the students’ visa

• Assistance making travel arrangement (trip, medical insurance, etc.) and boarding in the United States

SCHOOL STARTS

• Important tips for the trip and first months in the United States.

• Availability of our staff to provide advice and to answer questions down the road.
